This program prepares you for New York State certification in childhood education (grades 1-6).
The Childhood Education degree is focused on teaching elementary-level students in grades 1-6.
Coursework includes child psychology and literacy acquisition classes to help young learners build the foundation for success. As part of the degree program, all students will be required to sit for the New York State Teacher Certification Examinations.
